League recap: Port Chester stuns Lincoln in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Port Chester, who defeated 419th ranked Lincoln, 7-6.

Sleepy Hollow extended the longest winning streak in Section 1 A - 2 this week by beating Nyack, 35-28. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.

Sleepy Hollow's dynamic duo of Devin Lopez and Anthony Curanaj proved to be unstoppable against the Indians, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Lopez threw for 188 yards and 2 touchdowns and Curanaj had 77 yards receiving. Dante Ellis helped Sleepy Hollow's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 24 yards.

He was 17-22 with 0 interception.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Beacon takes on Steve Borys' team. At the moment, the Bulldogs are in ninth, while the Horsemen are in first.

Beacon moved up to 305 from 345 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Brian Mahon's team climbed the ranks as a result of beating Gorton 35-0.
