Softball Recap: Pinnacle Panthers vs. Milford Tigers

Pinnacle extended their losing streak to 12 on Friday, dropping their season record down to 0-12 in the process. They came up short against the Milford Tigers, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Tuesday.

As for Milford, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 16-8. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by seven runs or more this season.

For Milford's part, Miley Willden was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Willden was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jaidyn McMullin was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Paizlee Florence, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

Pinnacle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Milford, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 19-1 win against Piute on the 29th.
