Volleyball Recap: Branford Has No Trouble Against Aucilla Christian

Branford won the last time they faced Aucilla Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Buccaneers blew past the Warriors 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Buccaneers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-20.

Branford found their leader in sophomore Ava Alcorn, who had seven digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Alcorn.

Branford was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Branford's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Aucilla Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Branford will venture away from home to square off against Trenton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aucilla Christian, they will welcome Countryside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
