Volleyball Game Preview: Laguna Creek Cardinals vs. Sheldon Huskies

The Laguna Creek Cardinals will head out to face off against the Sheldon Huskies at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Laguna Creek will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Laguna Creek made easy work of Monterey Trail and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Laguna Creek never let Monterey Trail on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 29-27, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Sheldon can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Franklin.

The final score came out to 25-17, 21-25, 25-16, 25-22.

Laguna Creek pushed their record up to 20-4 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. As for Sheldon, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.

Laguna Creek beat Sheldon 3-1 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
