Basketball Game Preview: Huffman Vikings vs. Mountain Brook Spartans

The Huffman Vikings are taking a road trip to challenge the Mountain Brook Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Huffman is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Huffman came up short against Woodlawn and fell 53-41.

Meanwhile, Mountain Brook took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 55-24 victory over Clay-Chalkville. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Huffman's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Mountain Brook, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.

Huffman came up short against Mountain Brook in their previous meeting back in December of 2020, falling 53-47. Can Huffman avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
