Modesto Christian had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 4-19 to make it four. They came up short against the Gustine Reds, falling 11-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Reds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on Tuesday.

Modesto Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Guilano Perez, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

As for Gustine, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-5. The result was nothing new for the Reds, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

On Gustine's side, Alexander Quezada made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. As for Gustine, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Stone Ridge Christian at 4:00 p.m. on May 1.
