Baseball Recap: St. Monica Takes a Loss

St. Monica was the 7-3 winner over Crossroads when they last played one another back in February of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Monica Mariners fell 8-5 to the Crossroads Roadrunners on Thursday. The Mariners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Monica saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabriel Campbell, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

St. Monica's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Crossroads, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Monica is headed away from home for the first time to square off against de Toledo at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crossroads, they will face off against St. Bernard at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
