Flag Football Recap: Madera South Comes Up Short

If Madera South was feeling good fresh off their 21-0 takedown of Dos Palos on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Stallions were outmatched by the Milpitas Trojans and fell 47-0. While losing is never fun, the Stallions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 694th, while the Trojans are ranked 71st).

Bren David produced another solid effort throwing for 112 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 58 yards and one TD for Milpitas.

Madera South's loss dropped their record down to 2-16-1. As for Milpitas, their record now sits at 9-4.

Madera South has already played their next contest, an 8-6 victory against Monta Vista on the 27th. As for Milpitas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 26-6 win against Mills on the 27th.
