Frazier is a perfect 10-0 against Bentworth since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Commodores will face off against the Bearcats at 4:15 p.m. Frazier's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Bentworth's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Frazier is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Waynesburg Central just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 5-4.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bentworth). Everything went their way against Washington on Tuesday as they made off with an 18-5 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bearcats needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Kyleigh Glaze was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sofia Gaussa, who scored four runs while going 3-for-3.

Bentworth always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Bentworth now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Frazier, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2.

Frazier took their victory against Bentworth in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 12-1 score. Will the Commodores repeat their success, or do the Bearcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
