Cameron Nerby leads St. Francis to victory over St. John's Northwestern Military Academy

Even though the St. John's Northwestern Military Academy Lancers scored an imposing 62 points on Thursday, the St. Francis Mariners still came out on top. The stars were shining brightly for St. Francis in a 81-62 win over St. John's Northwestern Military Academy. The win made it back-to-back wins for St. Francis.
It was another big night for Cameron Nerby, who scored 29 points along with seven rebounds. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaron Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds.
St. Francis now has a winning record of 4-3. As for St. John's Northwestern Military Academy, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Francis will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Cudahy at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. St. John's Northwestern Military Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Living Word Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on December 22nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wisconsin (Living Word Lutheran is ranked 306th, while St. John's Northwestern Military Academy is ranked 289th).
