Volleyball Recap: Tehachapi Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Tehachapi lost against Garces Memorial back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams.

Tehachapi started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-21, 25-14, 25-19.

Lilyana Bundt paced Tehachapi's offense, picking up 17 kills. Bundt got some help from Lola Napier and her 17 assists. Morgan Chambers controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Abigail Menta had a dynamite game For Garces Memorial., getting 25 digs and two assists. Those two assists gave Menta a new career-high.

Tehachapi has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Garces Memorial, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

Tehachapi has already played their next contest (against Foothill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Garces Memorial, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Centennial at 6:15 p.m. on the 23rd.
