            Volleyball Recap: Blue Springs Wildcats vs. St. Michael the Archangel Guardians        
        
		
        
        
            Blue Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They fell  2-0 to the St. Michael the Archangel Guardians. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Guardians apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in September of 2024.
 Blue Springs'  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Anna Watkiss, who  had 11  digs, and  Callie Andes, who  had six  digs and one  assist.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Michael the Archangel to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Bokenkroger Molly, who  had 14  digs. Molly has been hot recently, having  posted 14 or more  digs the last three times she's  played.
Blue Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for St. Michael the Archangel, the  win was  the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-6.
 Coincidentally, Blue Springs and St. Michael the Archangel will both be playing Belton the next time they take the court. The Guardians will head out to face the Pirates at 9:15  a.m.  on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 10:30  a.m.
