Soccer Recap: Gateway Christian Comes Up Short at Home Against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy

Gateway Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints on Friday. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Gateway Christian struggled afterwards.

Coincidentally, Gateway Christian and Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will both be playing Hampton Christian Academy the next time they take the pitch. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will head out to face Hampton Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Gateway Christian will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on the 2nd.
