Basketball Recap: DJ Garcia's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Vision over Marsing

Vision was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against the Marsing Huskies, falling 76-51. Vision was down 69-39 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Vision lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was DJ Garcia, who went 6-for-12 to rack up 17 points. Those 17 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamden Stoker, who posted nine points and three steals.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Marsing to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mason Conger, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 15 points along with five boards and four steals. Juan Ponce was another key player, putting up 18 points in addition to six assists and four steals.

Vision's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Marsing, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

Vision does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marsing, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 73-62 win against Parma on the 22nd.
