Timber Creek had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Colonial Grenadiers 41-6. The Wolves pushed the score to 30-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Grenadiers had little chance of recovering from.

When it comes to explaining why Colonial lost, don't look at Sean Elliott. Despite the final result, he rushed for 84 yards and one score on only 11 carries.

Looking ahead, Timber Creek will look to defend their home field on Friday against Jones at 7:00 p.m. As for Colonial, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lake Buena Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Grenadiers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
