Volleyball Recap: Solid Rock Christian School Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous six meetings between Solid Rock Christian School and Varsity Opponent, and Varsity Opponent kept the tradition alive. The Swordsmen fell just short of Varsity Opponent by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Swordsmen were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Varsity Opponent earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Solid Rock Christian School sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 20-25, 25-20, 20-25, 15-10.

Solid Rock Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Varsity Opponent has already played their next matchup (against Frederick Force), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Solid Rock Christian School will be paying especially close attention to Varsity Opponent's match: after Varsity Opponent face off against Greenwich Academy, they'll take on Solid Rock Christian School again at 4:15 p.m. on the 27th.
