Soccer Game Preview: Overland vs. Cherokee Trail + How To Watch

The Overland Trailblazers will venture away from home to face off against the Cherokee Trail Cougars at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Overland is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Smoky Hill on Tuesday. The Trailblazers came up short against the Buffaloes, falling 5-1. Overland have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Cherokee Trail faced Mullen in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Cougars and the Mustangs finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Cherokee Trail have been dealt a draw since back in September.

Cherokee Trail's draw gives them a new season record of 8-3-3. As for Overland, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-3.
