Soccer Recap: Blackstone-Millville Takes a Loss

Blackstone-Millville lost against Northbridge back in November of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Chargers lost 6-2 to the Rams. While losing is never fun, Blackstone-Millville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 59th, while Northbridge are ranked eighth).

Marren Berry wasn't going to let Northbridge walk away unscathed as she scored both of Blackstone-Millville's goals, bringing her season total up to 12 goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Blackstone-Millville and nudges their season record down to 4-3-1. As for Northbridge, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

Blackstone-Millville has already played their next match, a 6-1 victory against Keefe Tech on the 29th. As for Northbridge, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Blackstone Valley RVT on the 29th.
