Softball Recap: Conway Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Conway's offense. They lost 14-0 to the St. James Sharks on Friday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Conway saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Benton Causey, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Conway is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7. As for St. James, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Conway will head out to challenge Socastee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. James, they will venture away from home to square off against North Myrtle Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Sharks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Chiefs have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
