Recap: King Wolves vs. Roosevelt Mustangs
The King Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 90-59 defeat at the hands of Roosevelt. King has struggled against Roosevelt recently, as their game on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, King still got an impressive performance from Mathias Tinker, who scored 20 points along with nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Justin Brayard, who scored 12 points.
King has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Roosevelt, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season.
King will take on Rancho Verde at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Rancho Verde presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than King in California (Rancho Verde is ranked 32nd, while King is ranked 334th). As for Roosevelt, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Santiago at 7:00 p.m.
