            For the second straight game, Lake Forest Academy will face off against North Shore Country Day. The Caxys will head out on the road to  challenge  the Raiders  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Lake Forest Academy is coming into the  contest on  a  four-game losing streak.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Lake Forest Academy and North Shore Country Day meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again  on Monday. The Caxys lost  19-5 to the Raiders.
For North Shore Country Day's part,  Gerald Kalotis was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He  struck out seven batters over  five innings while giving up  four earned  (and one unearned) runs off only  two  hits. Those  seven  strikeouts gave  Kalotis a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  stolen base and one  RBI. That  stolen base marked the first that  he  snagged this season.
 In other batting news,  Reed Metzler was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. Those  three  RBI gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Cole Berlin, who  went 3-for-5 with six  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 North Shore Country Day  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lake Forest Academy only posted  an  OBP of  .261.
 Lake Forest Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for North Shore Country Day, their record is now 2-3.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Lake Forest Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 3  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like North Shore Country Day struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 4.8  stolen bases.
