It was a good run, but Kettering unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Milford Mavericks, falling 48-26. While losing is never fun, the Captains can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 256th, while the Mavericks are ranked 117th).

Kettering's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Milford, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
