Softball Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Bulls vs. Boulder City Eagles
Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Sports Leadership & Management couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 8-3 to the Boulder City Eagles on Friday. The Bulls' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.
Nicole Carrasco put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and seven unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one run.
Carrasco wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Carmen Castro, who went 3-for-4 with one double.
