Baseball Recap: Western Wayne Wildcats vs. Dunmore Bucks

Western Wayne had lost three straight at home, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 5-13 to make it four. They fell just short of the Dunmore Bucks by a score of 7-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bucks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in April.

Damian Glackin was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

As for Dunmore, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. That's two games straight that they have won by just one run.
