Volleyball Recap: Ripon Find Success

Ripon's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Stoughton Vikings 2-1. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Emma Resop paced Ripon's offense, picking up seven kills. Resop got some help from Adele Minor and her 14 assists. Kyah Peterson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Ripon's win bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Stoughton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season.

Ripon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Sun Prairie East on the 27th. As for Stoughton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Watertown on the 27th.
