Softball Game Preview: Pacelli Cardinals vs. Mosinee Indians

The Pacelli Cardinals are taking a road trip to face off against the Mosinee Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Pacelli comes in on 22 and Mosinee on four.

Pacelli's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Tri-County 14-0. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Mosinee made easy work of Rhinelander on Tuesday and carried off a 15-0 win. The Indians are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the sixth contest they've won by 6+ runs this season.

Mosinee's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Pacelli, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0.

Pacelli came up short against Mosinee when the teams last played back in May of 2024, falling 9-4. Can the Cardinals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
