Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln County Red Devils vs. Warren County Screaming Devils

The Lincoln County Red Devils will square off against the Warren County Screaming Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Lincoln County will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Lake Oconee Academy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Red Devils were the clear victors by a 41-18 margin over the Titans on Friday.

Meanwhile, Warren County had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four last Friday. They claimed a resounding 57-27 win over the Titans. The Screaming Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 26 points or more this season.

Lincoln County better keep an eye on Courtney Bray. She was instrumental in Warren County's win, dropping a double-double with 24 points and 11 steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Bray has scored at least a third of the Screaming Devils' points. Another player making a difference was Jailee Allen, who went 6-for-11 en route to 17 points.

Lincoln County now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Warren County, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.
