Volleyball Recap: Pleasant Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Victory

Pleasant had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Ontario Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-17, 25-11.

Leading Pleasant to victory were Kamryn Roberts and Kamryn Cocherl. Roberts had 12 digs and four assists, while Cocherl hit 57.6% for 20 kills and 16 digs. Cocherl is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 35 games she's played dating back to last season.

Pleasant's record now sits at 6-0. As for Ontario, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-3.

Coming up, Pleasant will square off against Galion at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Ontario, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Mohawk on the 30th.
