South Lafourche entered their tilt with Destrehan on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Wildcats 3-0. The Tarpons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

One reason for the win was South Lafourche's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 25-16.

Leading South Lafourche to victory were Addison Rodrigue and Jolie Callais. Rodrigue had 14 assists and six digs, while Callais had 11 digs and four assists. That's the most assists Callais has posted over her last nine contests.

South Lafourche was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 11 consecutive matches.

South Lafourche's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Destrehan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

South Lafourche will face off against Hahnville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Destrehan, they will challenge Ascension Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
