Basketball Recap: Starmont Comes Up Short

Starmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 69-32 loss at the hands of the Calamus-Wheatland Warriors. If the Stars were looking for revenge after losing 48-10 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Starmont's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Calamus-Wheatland, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Starmont will venture away from home to square off against East Buchanan at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Calamus-Wheatland, they will welcome Easton Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
