Baseball Recap: Tabernacle Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Tabernacle had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the East Central HomeSchool Patriots by a score of 14-13.

Ian Anderson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

East Central HomeSchool now has a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tabernacle will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Cornerstone Christian at 5:00 p.m. on March 14th. As for East Central HomeSchool, they will host Cullman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Central HomeSchool has given up an average of 9.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
