Volleyball Recap: Chino Valley Puts Losing Streak Behind Them + How To Watch

Chino Valley had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Highland Prep Honey Badgers on Tuesday. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Honey Badgers, too.

Chino Valley walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 10-25, 25-21, 25-17.

Jayden Vander Molen paced Chino Valley's offense, picking up 12 kills. Vander Molen got some help from Avery Bradshaw and her 28 assists. Finally, Vander Molen was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Chino Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Highland Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Chino Valley and River Valley will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Highland Prep has already played their next contest (against Kingman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
