It was a good run, but Walter Panas unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of Pleasantville by a score of 2-1.

Nick DiMaso spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Walter Panas saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Malfant, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Walter Panas' loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 11-4. As for Pleasantville, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
