Volleyball Recap: Brillion Lions vs. New Holstein Huskies        
        
		
             There's no place like home for Brillion, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Saturday. Everything went their way against the New Holstein Huskies on Tuesday as the Brillion Lions made off with  a  3-0 win. The  contest marked the Lions' most dominant  victory of the season so far.
 The final score came out to 25-11, 25-20,  25-14.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brillion to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Reina Eijtjes, who  had eight  digs and four  aces. Eijtjes is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had five or more in the last three games she's  played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was  Taylor Brandenburg, who  had 13  digs.
 Brillion  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 15  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted since  back in October of 2023.
 Brillion pushed their record up to 9-3 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for New Holstein,  they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
 Brillion will venture away from home to  take on Kiel  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Kiel will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  victory, something Brillion surely won't give up without a fight. As for New Holstein, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Valders  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
