Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lloyd Memorial). Everything went their way against the Holmes Bulldogs on Tuesday as they made off with a 21-1 win. Considering the Juggernauts have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Layla Laudick was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with six RBI, one run, and one double. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Lloyd Memorial got a massive performance out of Allison Floyd, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and two RBI. That's the most runs Floyd has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lorelei Tomlinson, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI and two runs.

Lloyd Memorial always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .844. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory got Lloyd Memorial back to even at 11-11-1. As for Holmes, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lloyd Memorial will challenge Scott at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Holmes, they will square off against Holy Cross at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
