Baseball Recap: Dade Christian Comes Up Short

The Dade Christian Warriors came up short against the Key West Conchs on Saturday and fell 8-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alexander Mendoza Jr made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Wander Tifa, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

Dade Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Key West, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

Looking ahead, Dade Christian will square off against Coral Shores at 2:00 p.m. on April 1. As for Key West, they will take on Monsignor Pace at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
