Football Game Preview: Pendleton Bulldogs vs. Broome Centurions

The Pendleton Bulldogs will head out to take on the Broome Centurions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Pendleton and Crescent had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bulldogs fell 28-21 to the Tigers on Friday.

Meanwhile, Broome hadn't done well against Chapman recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Centurions had just enough and edged out the Panthers 36-33. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Centurions considering their 12-point performance the matchup before.

Pendleton better keep an eye on Tyqwon Booker. He was instrumental in Broome's win, rushing for 286 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Simpson, who threw for 149 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 91.7% of his passes.

Broome was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 361 rushing yards. They are a perfect 3-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Broome pushed their record up to 5-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.8 points over those games. As for Pendleton, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
