Softball Recap: South Windsor Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Windsor can now relate to. They came up short against the Trumbull Eagles on Monday, falling 11-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Bobcats were not able to get on the board.

South Windsor has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Trumbull, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5.

South Windsor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trumbull, they will face off against Glastonbury on Wednesday.
