Basketball Recap: Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Benton Central, Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 35-23 victory over the Oakwood Comets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 32-26 two weeks ago.

Despite the defeat, Oakwood had strong showings from Caydence Vermillion, who posted 11 points, and Gracie Hanner, who earned six points.

Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Oakwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
