Recap: Klahowya Eagles vs. Bellevue Christian Vikings
The Klahowya Eagles pushed their score all the way to 61 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 84-61 walloping at the hands of Bellevue Christian. Klahowya has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Klahowya still got an impressive performance from Eli Kraft, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Kraft has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Thatcher Wise, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Klahowya has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Bellevue Christian, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.
Klahowya didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-45 win vs. Olympic on the 9th. Bellevue Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Klahowya at 7:00 p.m. Bellevue Christian is coming into the match with three straight victories at home, so Klahowya is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
