NSU University waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Lemon Bay Manta Rays.

NSU University got a great performance from Aidan Jacobs as he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. The dominant performance also gave Jacobs a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

On the hitting side, Griffin Pomper was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.

NSU University hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in four consecutive contests.
