Basketball Recap: Mills Comes Up Short

Mills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a hard 68-50 fall against the Lincoln Mustangs. The Vikings were probably out for revenge after losing 82-81 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Mills lost, don't look at Jefriel Bacorro. Despite the final result, he went 8 for 15 on his way to 27 points. The game was Bacorro's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Tyler Ngo was another key player, going 5 for 9 on his way to 13 points.

Mills' loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Lincoln, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-8.

Mills has already played their next matchup, a 52-37 victory against Wallenberg on the 4th. As for Lincoln, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 67-43 win against Balboa on the 7th.
