Basketball Recap: Triplains/Brewster Comes Up Short

Triplains/Brewster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 86-14 loss at the hands of the Cheylin Cougars. The Titans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 69-2.

Triplains/Brewster's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Cheylin, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Triplains/Brewster will head out to face off against Wallace County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cheylin, they will venture away from home to challenge Weskan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cheylin will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
