Freedom had won nine straight games and Keilani Johnson did her part to make it ten on Friday. The Freedom Eagles blew past the Hylton Bulldogs, posting a 51-9 victory thanks in part to Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten steals. She is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last 12 games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Jamaia Smith, who posted seven points. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in shooting accuracy (75%).

Freedom's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.2 points over those games. As for Hylton, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.

Coming up, Freedom will face off against Potomac Senior at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Potomac Senior will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Freedom surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hylton, they will be taking part in a tournament against Woodbridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
