Basketball Game Preview: Dolgeville Blue Devils vs. Poland Tornadoes

The Dolgeville Blue Devils will take on the Poland Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Thursday, Dolgeville ended up a good deal behind Hamilton and lost 56-40. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Emerald Knights: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Poland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a hard 53-35 fall against Oriskany. While losing is never fun, the Tornadoes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 632nd, while the Skyhawks are ranked 100th).

Dolgeville's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Poland, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
