Softball Game Preview: Hayfork Timberjacks vs. Ferndale Wildcats

Hayfork hasn't had much luck against Ferndale recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Timberjacks will welcome the Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Hayfork is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They lost 21-13 to Princeton. On the bright side, the 13- run effort marked the Timberjacks' highest-scoring contest to date.

Meanwhile, Ferndale came into Thursday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Hoopa Valley on Thursday, sneaking past 11-9.
