Soccer Game Preview: Walker vs. Central

Walker will face off against Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Walker has given up an average of 4.5 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Walker is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against East Ascension on Thursday. They lost 5-0 to the Spartans.

Meanwhile, Liberty Magnet kept up with Central until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Wildcats never let the Patriots get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory.

Walker has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Central, the win got them back to even at 9-9-2.

Everything went Walker's way against Central in their previous matchup back in January of 2025, as Walker made off with a 7-1 victory. Will Walker repeat their success, or does Central has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
