Soccer Game Preview: Somerset College Prep Academy vs. Tradition Prep

The Somerset College Prep Academy Spartans will head out on the road to face off against the Tradition Prep Pirates at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, Somerset College Prep Academy might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Port St. Lucie an easy 4-1 win. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Somerset College Prep Academy's goal came courtesy of Gia Abraham, who's now up to 16 this season.

Meanwhile, Tradition Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-0 to Vero Beach. That's two games in a row now that the Pirates have lost by exactly eight goals.

Somerset College Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-1. As for Tradition Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
