Williams had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Mario Pedraza sure wasn't going down easily. Pedraza was unstoppable, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Pedraza and Williams will welcome Joseph City at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Pedraza's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Vikings' six-game streak of wins at home.
