Soccer Recap: Carl Junction Takes a Loss

Carl Junction entered their matchup against Springfield Catholic on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bulldogs came up short against the Fighting Irish, falling 4-0. The match was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Carl Junction it sure didn't stay that way.

Carl Junction's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Springfield Catholic, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1.

Looking ahead, Carl Junction will challenge Bolivar at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Springfield Catholic, they will square off against Logan-Rogersville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Springfield Catholic their first taste of in-conference action this season.
